CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services)

A multi-agency specialist mental health service for children and young people with complex, severe or persistent emotional, behavioural or developmental problems. CAMHS accepts referrals from birth to a child’s 18th birthday. A referral can be made through GPs, schools, social services and other agencies. It is also possible to make "Self-Referral's" to CAMHS services, which can be accepted by Parents, Carers and Young People.

Community Links provides help and advice on various topics such as peer support groups and well-being activities, 1:1 befriending with a trained volunteer.

The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM)

The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide.  They run a free and confidential helpline and webchat – 7 hours a day, 7 days a week for anyone who needs to talk about life’s problems. They support those bereaved by suicide, through the Support After Suicide Partnership (SASP).
