CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services)
A multi-agency specialist mental health service for children and young people with complex, severe or persistent emotional, behavioural or developmental problems. CAMHS accepts referrals from birth to a child’s 18th birthday. A referral can be made through GPs, schools, social services and other agencies. It is also possible to make "Self-Referral's" to CAMHS services, which can be accepted by Parents, Carers and Young People.
