Disability Living Allowance
(DLA) for children Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for children may help with the extra costs of looking after a child who: is under 16 & has difficulties walking or needs much more looking after than a child of the same age who does not have a disability.

ELFT SCYPS
Newham ELFT Specialist Children’s and Young People’s Services in Newham provides a variety of services for children and young people. This site has a variety of short videos providing help and advice on a wide range of topics such as getting your child dressed, using a coreboard for communication, developing social skills and play ideas.
Family Fund
Family Fund provides items and services to low-income families in the UK raising disabled or seriously ill children. Services aim to improve the quality of their life, support them in understanding their rights and remove some of the barriers they face. Family Fund provides grants for a wide range of items, such as washing machines, sensory toys, family breaks, bedding, tablets, furniture, outdoor play equipment, clothing and computers.
